Charlotte Y. Martin Centre

The Charlotte Y. Martin Centre, located on the Gonzaga University campus in Spokane, Washington, is a historic athletics center with a seating capacity of 4,000. Originally opened in 1965 as the John F. Kennedy Memorial Pavilion, it has hosted significant events, including a memorable concert by Led Zeppelin in 1968. The center underwent renovations in 1987, funded by a generous donation from Charlotte Martin, after whom it was renamed. It serves as the home court for the women's volleyball team and was previously the venue for Gonzaga's men's and women's basketball teams until the opening of the McCarthey Athletic Center in 2004. The venue is known for its vibrant atmosphere, particularly during basketball games, and has a rich history that reflects the cultural and athletic spirit of Spokane.
