Las Vegas Monorail - automated people mover along the Strip

The Las Vegas Monorail opened on July 15, 2004 and runs along the east side of the Las Vegas Strip serving multiple resort and convention stops. The system uses automated, driverless train operations controlled by a central signaling system. It was one of the first privately financed, automated monorail systems in the United States designed specifically to serve a major tourist and convention corridor. The monorail connects to the Las Vegas Convention Center and several major Strip properties.
