Rodin Museum

The Rodin Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway houses one of the largest collections of works by Auguste Rodin outside France, including notable casts of The Thinker and The Gates of Hell. The museum was established from the collection of Jules E. Mastbaum and opened in 1929; its building and surrounding sculpture garden are part of Philadelphia's museum district. The institution mounts exhibitions and programs focused on Rodin's work and 19th‑century sculpture.
