Jeremiah Hutchins Tavern

The Jeremiah Hutchins Tavern, located in northwestern Bath, New Hampshire, is a historic former tavern built in 1799 by early settler Jeremiah Hutchins. This two-story wood-frame structure showcases transitional Georgian-Federal architecture and is recognized as one of the finest examples in the area. Now a private residence, the tavern features a symmetrical facade with a recessed entrance and has preserved much of its original interior. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, it reflects the rich history of Bath and its early citizens, particularly the Hutchins family, who contributed significantly to the town's development.
