Painted Ladies at Alamo Square

The "Painted Ladies" commonly refers to the row of colorful Victorian houses facing Alamo Square Park; the most photographed set is at 710–720 Steiner Street. These houses date from the late 19th century and exemplify San Francisco's Victorian architecture. The row gained widespread recognition through postcards, photography, and its appearance in the opening credits of the TV show Full House.
