Tovrea Castle (the 'Wedding Cake')

Tovrea Castle is a white, tiered concrete structure built in the late 1920s and early 1930s that is commonly nicknamed the 'wedding cake' for its stepped silhouette. The building sits on the edge of central Phoenix within the Tovrea Carraro Preserve and is a local architectural landmark visible from nearby highways. The City of Phoenix owns the property and offers periodic guided tours of the castle and its grounds.
