Phoenix Convention Center (2008 expansion)

The Phoenix Convention Center complex underwent a major expansion completed in 2008 that more than doubled its exhibit and meeting space and connected multiple buildings into a single downtown campus. The expanded center includes large exhibit halls, meeting rooms, and an arena-adjacent footprint that increased Phoenix's capacity to host national conventions and large events. The project significantly changed the character of downtown immediately west of Phoenix Civic Space Park.
