Laperal White House

The Laperal White House, located in Baguio, Philippines, is a historic landmark built in 1928 by Roberto Laperal. This Victorian-American style house, made of narra and yakal wood, served as a vacation home for the Laperal family and showcases architectural features typical of 1920s construction. The house has survived numerous disasters, including the 1990 Luzon earthquake, and was transformed into a tourist attraction after being purchased by billionaire Lucio Tan in 2007. It now houses a restaurant and a museum dedicated to Filipino artworks made of bamboo and wood. The house is also rumored to be haunted due to its history during World War II, adding an intriguing element for visitors interested in the supernatural.
