Jan Van Loon House

The Jan Van Loon House, located in Athens, New York, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the state, dating back to 1706. Built by Jan Van Loon, the first European settler in the area, the house is a significant part of local history, having originally contributed to the establishment of the settlement known as Loonenburg.
