Old Academy (Munich)

The Old Academy, or Alte Akademie, is a historic building in the heart of Munich, Germany, with origins dating back to the 16th century. Featuring a striking Renaissance facade and four inner courtyards, it was initially constructed as a college for the Jesuits by Duke William V. Over the centuries, it has served various purposes, including a military cantonment, a court library, and an art school.
