Melanchthonhaus (Bretten)

The Melanchthonhaus is a significant museum and research facility dedicated to the Protestant Reformation, located in Bretten, Germany. It focuses on the life and contributions of Philipp Melanchthon, a key figure in the Reformation. Visitors can explore exhibitions detailing his life, access a specialist library with approximately 11,000 books on Reformation history, and utilize a research center and documentation facility for international Melanchthon studies. The building, constructed in 1897 on the site of Melanchthon's birthplace, features a design inspired by theologian Nikolaus Müller and was officially opened on June 25, 1903.
