Century Tower (Chicago)

Century Tower, located at 182 West Lake Street in Chicago's Loop, is a historic condominium building originally completed in 1930. Once the tallest reinforced concrete building in the world, it showcases stunning Art Deco architecture designed by Thielbar and Fugard. The building has housed various consulates and notable tenants, including radio stations. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998 and converted into condominiums in 2005. The building's lobby features red marble from an ancient Roman quarry, adding to its historical significance. Additionally, it served as a filming location for the movie Batman Begins.
