National Atomic Testing Museum

The National Atomic Testing Museum documents nuclear weapons testing at the Nevada Test Site and related Cold War programs through artifacts, declassified documents, and interactive exhibits. The museum is a Smithsonian Affiliate and opened in a renovated facility in Las Vegas to preserve and interpret the region's atomic-era history. Exhibits include a re-created control room from the Nevada Test Site and displays on fallout monitoring and civil defense.
