Drummine Farm

Drummine Farm is a historic home and farm complex located in New Market, Maryland, dating back to around 1790. This 2+1⁄2-story house showcases Georgian architectural influences and is constructed from uncoursed fieldstone. The farm features several notable structures, including a stone tenant house from 1816, a smokehouse, a water storage house, and a large bank barn, all reflecting early 19th-century craftsmanship. Additionally, the site includes wooden buildings such as a dairy barn with cement stave silos from the 1930s. Recognized for its historical significance, Drummine Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, making it a valuable destination for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and rural history.
