Flanley's Block

Flanley's Block is a historic commercial building located at 349–353 Main Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Constructed around 1895, this well-preserved example of late 19th-century Italianate architecture features a three-story brick structure with distinctive design elements such as a flat roof, extended cornice, and round-arch windows. Originally built by local furniture salesman John Flanley, the building has served various purposes over the years, including housing the local branch of the International Order of Odd Fellows since 1918. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
