Altman House

The Altman House, located at 1202 Perry Street in Helena, Arkansas, is a historic residence built in 1914. Designed by Estelle Newman Altman, this unique 1+1⁄2-story brick and stone structure showcases a blend of Classical Revival and Craftsman architectural styles. Notable features include a recessed entry with a segmented-arch pediment supported by Ionic columns, an impressive elliptical transom window, and diamond-pane casement windows. The house, which also features a sunporch, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century architecture.
