Former Sanhe Bank

The Former Sanhe Bank, located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is a historical bank building established in 1921. Originally a branch of Sanjushi-Ginko Bank, it underwent several transformations, becoming Sanwa Bank in 1933 and later merging into the Bank of Taiwan after World War II. The building features a unique architectural style with reinforced concrete and khaki face bricks. After serving as a police station until 1990, it has remained unused. Visitors can easily access this site, which is within walking distance from Sizihwan Station on the Kaohsiung MRT, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
