Houston City Hall (1939 Art Deco municipal building)

Houston City Hall, completed in 1939 and designed by architect Joseph Finger, is an Art Deco municipal building that replaced an earlier city hall. The building has served as the center of Houston municipal government since its dedication and is part of the older Civic Center complex.
