Capt. Henry E. Sewall House

The Capt. Henry E. Sewall House is a historic wooden structure located in Indian RiverSide Park, Jensen Beach, Florida. Built in 1889 by local pioneer Capt. Henry E. Sewall, the house served as both his residence and the post office for Sewall's Point. The house was moved multiple times, including a significant relocation in 2007 to its current park setting. Notably, during Prohibition, a cupola was added to the roof, which was used to signal bootleggers. The house was restored and opened to the public in 2012, and it is recognized as a Martin County Historic Property, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
