Mol's Coffee House

Mol's Coffee House is a historic Grade I Listed building located in the picturesque Cathedral Close of Exeter, Devon. Originally a custom house in the late 16th century, it transformed into a coffee house in 1726, notable for being run exclusively by women until its closure in 1829. The building later served as an art gallery and was remarkably saved from a devastating fire in 2016. Architecturally, it features a charming timber-framed front, a central panel with the Royal Arms, and a unique curly Dutch gable. Visitors can admire its rich history and beautiful 16th-century oak panelling.
