San Antonio Museum of Art in the former Lone Star Brewery

The San Antonio Museum of Art is housed in the renovated 19th-century Lone Star Brewing Company complex along the Museum Reach of the San Antonio River. The museum's collections include extensive ancient Mediterranean holdings and one of the nation’s most significant collections of Latin American art. The building's adaptive reuse turned an industrial brewery site into a major cultural institution in downtown San Antonio.
