Shadow Farm

Shadow Farm is a historic gentleman's farm complex located in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, established in 1869. The centerpiece is a large manor house built in 1884, which underwent significant renovations in 1904 and was converted into a multi-unit residence in the 1980s. Overlooking Silver Lake, the estate features a collection of outbuildings, including a carriage house and stable, although these are now separated from the main house by condominium developments. Recognized for its historical significance, Shadow Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers interested in Rhode Island's architectural heritage.
