Paasitorni

Paasitorni, also known as the Helsinki Workers' House, is a historic conference and congress center located in Hakaniemi, Helsinki, Finland. Designed in Art Nouveau style by architect Karl Lindahl and opened in 1908, it originally served as a leisure space for the working class. The building features a striking granite facade and a high tower, making it a notable landmark. Today, it offers nearly 30 event spaces, four restaurants, and a hotel, along with a floating restaurant pavilion. Paasitorni has a rich history, having been a headquarters during the 1918 Finnish Civil War and undergoing significant restoration to preserve its architectural integrity. It was even nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, highlighting its cultural significance.
