Joe P. Eagle and D. R. Boone Building

The Joe P. Eagle and D. R. Boone Building is a historic commercial structure located at 105-107 West Front Street in downtown Lonoke, Arkansas. Built in 1905 and designed by architect Charles L. Thompson, this two-story red brick building features a unique architectural style with a sloping flat roof and brick pilasters dividing its two sections. The left side retains its original storefront with elegant plate glass display windows, while the right side showcases a more modern 1960s design. The building's second floor is adorned with tripled sash windows, enhancing its historical charm. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1994, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
