Bernard Madoff's Investment Firm Headquarters

Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities operated from offices at 885 Third Avenue in Manhattan. In December 2008 Bernard Madoff was arrested after admitting his firm was a multi-decade Ponzi scheme that defrauded investors of billions of dollars. The building's address became synonymous with one of the largest financial frauds in U.S. history. Madoff was later sentenced to 150 years in prison.
