Conservatory of Flowers (Victorian greenhouse)

The Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park is a Victorian-era greenhouse completed in 1879 and is one of the oldest surviving municipal wooden conservatories in the United States. The wood-and-glass structure houses rare and historic plant collections and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has undergone multiple restorations, most recently reopening after a major seismic and structural retrofit in 2003.
