Pike Place Market (established 1907)

Pike Place Market opened in 1907 as a public market to connect local farmers and consumers and has operated continuously since then. The market complex retains many original market stalls and historic buildings reflecting early 20th-century municipal market infrastructure. It is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States and remains a major public marketplace in Seattle.
