Indianapolis City Market

The Indianapolis City Market opened in 1886 as a public market and occupies a long historic brick building in downtown Indianapolis. It is one of the city's oldest continuously operating public markets and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The market houses permanent vendors, restaurants, and a food hall-style collection of merchants while retaining architectural elements from its 19th-century construction.
