The Sixth Floor Museum (Texas School Book Depository)

The Sixth Floor Museum occupies the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository building at 411 Elm Street and interprets the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Exhibits include historical films, photographs, documents, and artifacts related to the shooting and its aftermath. The southeast corner window of the sixth floor is the location from which Lee Harvey Oswald is alleged to have fired; that detail is central to official investigations and public accounts.
