Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum

The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum is an interactive museum on Congress Street featuring full-scale replica ships (Eleanor and Beaver) and multimedia exhibits about the December 16, 1773 tea protests. The museum uses costumed actors, artifacts, and a re-creation of the tea-throwing to interpret the historical event at or near the original Griffin's Wharf site. It also displays one of the few authenticated tea crates recovered from the harbor.
