Mission San Juan Capistrano (Mission San Juan)

Mission San Juan Capistrano was founded at its present San Antonio site in 1731 and is one of the five Spanish missions included in San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and the UNESCO World Heritage inscription. The mission complex includes a preserved stone church and convento area that served as the religious and agricultural center for Indigenous converts and Spanish settlers. The chapel is open to the public for tours and has been used for Masses and religious events at various times in its history.
