Elfreth's Alley - Oldest continuously inhabited residential street

Elfreth's Alley is a cobblestone street in Philadelphia's Old City dating to 1702 and is often described as the nation's oldest continuously inhabited residential street. The alley contains more than 30 houses built between the early 18th and 19th centuries, and its preservation led to the creation of the Elfreth's Alley Museum. The street and the surrounding historic district are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
