Luxor Sky Beam

The Luxor Sky Beam is a high-intensity column of light projected from the apex of the Luxor Hotel's black glass pyramid on the Las Vegas Strip. The beam has been a visible nighttime landmark since the resort opened in 1993 and is designed to be seen from many miles away on clear nights. It is produced by a bank of powerful lamps and associated optics housed at the pyramid's peak and is considered one of the brightest beams of light anywhere in the world.
