USS Constitution ('Old Ironsides') at Charlestown Navy Yard

USS Constitution, nicknamed 'Old Ironsides,' is the oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat, launched in 1797 and preserved as a museum ship. The ship is berthed at the Charlestown Navy Yard and is maintained by the U.S. Navy with public access and guided tours. Together with the adjacent USS Constitution Museum, it functions as a longstanding historic installation interpreting early U.S. naval history.
