Founding of Texas Christian University by the Clark brothers

Addison and Randolph Clark founded Add-Ran Male & Female College in 1873; the institution later moved to Fort Worth in 1910 and became Texas Christian University. The Clark brothers' founding and early leadership are the origin of TCU's history in the city. The university's main campus at this Fort Worth address remains the institutional center they established.
