County Hall, Kilkenny

County Hall is a historic municipal building located in Kilkenny, Ireland. Originally commissioned in 1667 as Kilkenny Grammar School by James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormond, the current Neoclassical structure was completed in 1785, designed by Charles Vierpyl. After a significant fire in 1980, the building underwent major repairs and continued to serve as an educational institution until 1985.
