Hayward and Kibby Mill

The Hayward and Kibby Mill, also known as the Tunbridge Mill, is a historic industrial site in Tunbridge, Vermont, featuring a well-preserved 19th-century grist mill and sawmill. Established around 1820, it is one of the few remaining water-powered mills in Vermont, showcasing both milling and sawmilling operations. The complex includes a brick mill structure, a water power canal, a dam, and a historic blacksmith shop. Visitors can explore the mill's interior, which houses operable 19th-century equipment. The site is significant for its long history of industrial activity dating back to the 1780s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
