Chitty Museum

The Chitty Museum, located in the Chitty Village area of Malacca City, Malaysia, is dedicated to the unique Chitty community, a minority group with a rich cultural heritage. Housed in a traditional Chitty house, the museum showcases a variety of artifacts and archives that reflect the daily life, history, culture, and religious practices of the Chitty people. Established with the support of the Malacca State Government and opened in 2003, the museum offers visitors an insightful glimpse into the traditions, attire, and culinary practices of this vibrant community.
