Admiralty House (Stockholm)

The Admiralty House, located on the picturesque islet of Skeppsholmen in central Stockholm, is a historical building with a rich architectural heritage. Originally constructed between 1647 and 1650, it showcases Dutch Renaissance style, characterized by its stepped gables. Over the centuries, it has served various purposes, including an archive and a corn stable, before being transformed into a barrack. In the mid-19th century, it was redesigned in a Neo-Renaissance style, featuring distinctive turrets.
