Clark County Wetlands Park / Las Vegas Wash archaeological surveys

Archaeological surveys and mitigation projects along the Las Vegas Wash within Clark County Wetlands Park have documented prehistoric Native American artifacts and cultural deposits, including flaked stone tools and isolated cultural features. Investigations were conducted by professional cultural resource specialists during park development and flood-control projects to record and protect identified sites. Findings have informed understanding of Holocene-period use of the Las Vegas Valley's watercourse.
