Painted Ladies (Alamo Square row)

The Painted Ladies are a row of late 19th-century Victorian and Edwardian houses facing Alamo Square Park noted for their ornate, multicolored trim. The block commonly referred to by tourists is located on Steiner Street and has been widely photographed as an iconic San Francisco residential streetscape. The row is prominently featured in popular culture, including the opening sequence of the television series Full House. They remain a frequently visited viewpoint across from Alamo Square Park.
