E.D. Maddox Farm Chicken House

The E.D. Maddox Farm Chicken House, located in Rosebud, Arkansas, is a unique historic structure built in 1938. Notable for its distinctive diagonally-sided exterior and entirely diagonally cut framing, it represents a rare architectural style in White County. This single-story building features a side gable roof and a shed-roof porch, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture. Although it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, current satellite images suggest that the original structure may no longer exist, as a church now occupies the site.
