Radnor Lake's Mature Hardwood Canopy

Radnor Lake State Natural Area preserves a stretch of mature hardwood forest and lakeshore habitat within Nashville. The protected forest contains large tulip poplars, oaks, and beeches that form an intact canopy and support local wildlife. Radnor Lake was established as a state natural area in 1973 to conserve the lake and surrounding woodland.
