Braves Field hosted 1918 World Series games

During the 1918 World Series the Boston Red Sox used Braves Field for some home games to accommodate larger crowds because Fenway Park had a smaller seating capacity at the time. Braves Field had opened in 1915 as the home of the Boston Braves and was used for major-league postseason play in that era. The Red Sox won the 1918 World Series, and the use of Braves Field for those games is a documented part of Boston baseball history.
