Urbis

Urbis is a striking architectural landmark in Manchester, England, designed by Ian Simpson and opened in 2002. Initially serving as a Museum of the City, it transitioned in 2005 to focus on exhibitions of popular culture, hosting a variety of events, talks, and gigs. After closing in 2010, it was transformed into the National Football Museum, attracting around 400,000 visitors annually. The building features a unique sloping design with 2,200 glass panes and offers stunning views of the city from its top floor.
