Minute Maid Park - among the earliest MLB parks with a retractable roof and natural grass

Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros since 2000, features a retractable roof and a natural grass playing field grown on movable trays that can be rolled outside the stadium. When it opened it was one of the earliest Major League Baseball ballparks combining a retractable roof with natural grass, enabling outdoor-field conditions in a climate-controlled venue. The stadium is known for its distinctive Union Station train-retrofit entrance and downtown location.
