Space Needle and The Loupe

The Space Needle was built for the 1962 Century 21 Exposition (the Seattle World's Fair) and has a total height of 605 feet with an observation deck around 520 feet. In 2018 the structure reopened after a major renovation called the Century Project. The renovation added The Loupe, which is promoted as the world’s first and only revolving glass floor. The Space Needle remains one of Seattle’s most-visited observation attractions.
