Elmcroft

Elmcroft is a historic 19th-century manor located in Smiths Falls, Ontario, built in 1895 by Francis Theodore Frost, a prominent local figure. This stunning example of Queen Anne Revival architecture features multiple halls, a dining room, a library, and stables, though some original features have been lost over time. The house has a rich history, including visits from notable Canadian politicians and a burglary in 1907. After changing hands several times, it was briefly a bed and breakfast before returning to private residence status in 2012. Elmcroft is recognized for its heritage value and is part of the Frost Mansion Row, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
