Old Red Museum (Dallas County Courthouse)

The building known as Old Red was completed in 1892 as the Dallas County Courthouse and is a Romanesque Revival structure built of red sandstone and granite. It served as the county courthouse for decades and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was later repurposed and now houses the Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture, preserving the historic courthouse fabric as civic infrastructure.
