Scarab Club (artists' clubhouse)

The Scarab Club, founded in 1907, is an artists' clubhouse and gallery that has hosted exhibitions, readings, and social events for Detroit-area artists for over a century. Its clubhouse contains members' studios, gallery space, and a trophy room decorated with artist-carved wood reliefs and mosaics. The club organizes the annual Gold Medal Exhibition and other public exhibitions that showcase local and regional visual art.
